Silk Buttons!

I saw the most beautiful silk button on this website that I just had to try my hand at my own.  They are nowhere near the caliber of hers but I kind of like them!

This a little purse I made for a friend who was moving out of the country.  Another friend stuffed it with a bunch of little goodies for the bath.

with some frivolous crystal beads to round it off.

This little lovely was a commissioned piece and I have to say I am quite proud of myself I think it turned out very sweet.  The pattern is from a Japanese pattern book.
