Hello Everyone!

Been a while since I've posted anything new.  A lot of changes happening in my life some good that feel bad at the moment. I have purchased a few books I want to show you and have made a new shawl.

This shawl is called Eiku and the pattern can be found here on Ravelry.  Very easy to knit and it took me about 4 days.  Here it is hanging on my Jasmine bush.

Made from a lovely Italian yarn Filati Cervinia Tricofine a wool/acrylic blend.

This is a GORGEOUS book!  I want to make everything in it.  Although its written in French you can follow the pictures very easily and the illustrated stitches.  I belong to Cecile's newsletter which  is packed with her wonderful creations, go over and take a look at her blog here.

Imagine my surprise to find this book hidden away in the embroidery section of a little book store in Dubai.  It is a wonderful new and fresh twist on your mothers old embroidery.  Gorgeous designs and cool iron on transfers in the back! Jenny's blog, Sublime Stitching, can be found here.

This Book is a wonderful addition to my collection.  It is a handbook written in 1880 and though it reads like a text book to begin with it is packed with wonderful illustrations and designs from that era.  I bought it directly from the school for almost half the price as Amazon is charging so great deal!  Plus! The Royal School of Needlework sent me its summer class schedule.  sigh....what a lovely dream for me to be able to study there!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! xx Analisa
